OROFACIAL MYOFUNCTIONAL THERAPY
Lips closed. Tongue up. Breathing easy.
Gentle, play-based therapy that retrains the muscles of the mouth and face, so your child (or you) can breathe through the nose, swallow and chew well, and sleep more soundly.

WHAT IS OMT?
Exercise for the mouth, face, and airway
Orofacial myofunctional therapy (OMT) is a structured program of exercises and habit training for the tongue, lips, cheeks, and jaw. It targets how these muscles rest and work together every day — while breathing, swallowing, chewing, speaking, and sleeping.
When those patterns are off, they can quietly affect sleep, dental and facial development, feeding, and speech. OMT builds new, healthier habits that last.
The three goals of every OMT program
Lips closed
A relaxed, comfortable lip seal at rest instead of an open-mouth posture.
